If you have a product site (we specialize in large catalog sites with 5000+ items) you want to make all non-product page links nofollow. Don’t waste Google’s spider-time on stuff like ABOUT US, CONTACT, SHIPPING INFO. Place the most important CATEGORY or PRODUCT links at the top left of each page and pray that Googlebot will follow as many as possible every day.
